Hi, Im Sofia Duarte, or Sofi preferably and I play the drums and do art. I am 16 years old and my family is Colombian and Brazilian but I am born and raised in Miami, Florida and I am currently still in high school. I've done art since I was very little, stopped for a while then re-found it. I am taking AP Drawing this year and took AP 2D last year. I love making art and have mainly worked with painting using acrylics and oils. I also love pen and ink, doodling, fashion, photography, printing, animation and look forward to exploring more. I also really love the drums and many different genres of music. I am currently taking courses  with Berklee Online namely, Afro-Cuban Drums and Modern Music Marketing, online courses on U demy for film composing, music theory and improving double pedal, as well as playing at School of Rock. 

I play music in order to affect other people, make them really feel it and be able to suck them into the music.  I also want my art to really touch people and make them entranced by it. My goal is to study music and art in Tokyo, Japan in college and pursue a career there. 

I really love art and music and will take any opportunity to further explore, learn and practice them. I would love to work with anyone in the South Miami area that is interested in similar things! Please reach out to book me as a drummer or to work on an artistic project!
